Tour with the Audio Guide in 8 different languages through the magnificent State Room, the Fortress Museum, Marionette Museum and Rainer Regiment Museum.

Fortress Museum, Marionette Museum and Rainer Regiment Museum

The chambers and vaults of the Fortress Museum present relics from the fortress history, offering insight into fortress life and customs.

The Rainer Regiment Museum, an impressive multimedia show and a Marionette Museum round off the visitors' program.

Dining

A visit to the Fortress restaurants is also recommended. The restaurant's garden affords a wonderful view over the city of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains.


The funicular will take you to the entrance gate in just 1 minute. The fortress can also be accessed on foot in approx. 15 minutes.
