Experiencing history

Special tours are available for school classes and children's/youth groups as part of the educational museum program to give children and youths more insight into life in the Middle Ages.

5. Castles in the literature
    of the Middle Ages

(including program "Men and walls")

Castles are mentioned and described in different epic breadth in Wolfram von Eschenbach's most significant medieval writings such as the "Nibelungenlied" and "Parzival". This educational program "compares" the literary description of castles with real life as an introduction to the Middle High German epic (and lyric poetry).
