Special tours are available for school classes and children's/youth groups as part of the educational museum program to give children and youths more insight into life in the Middle Ages.

"Birds of prey in today´s environment"
(Special educational tour)

A falconer from Salzburg's State Falconry Center will tell the class about the history, popularity and cultural aspects of falconry as a hunting method and important way of protecting these birds of prey. He will explain the value and topical significance of domestic birds of prey in Austria's ecological system. Children can admire the birds at close range. Impressive flight demonstration before or after the tour will show the birds of prey in flight.
